Yeah well he can thank Etty for taking him down the path of destroying his face, which looks worse than ever.

Also, clearly the other guys from Jane's have lost interest in recording his stupid songs with there being no money in albums anymore.

And why are they now going to release a decades old P4P song? Just to release it? Makes no sense.

These idiots have so much material from so many projects and so many incredible musicians amongst them. They could have had something really great by melding it all together and catering to their once rabid fanbase instead of trying SO fucking hard to cash in during Strays and listening to all of the sycophants/spouses/girlfriends giving them such awful advice.

I think PF looks young in his new youtube interview but why not put time into getting his voice to sound young , his voice sounds old.

Good thing he's decided to work with Porno again just hope he works on getting the voice to sound better. I'd like to hear all those p4p demos recorded to vinyl with the guy who produced the first p4p record. It's the only PF related music I still listen to. Pete was never able to duplicate live the way he sounded on the classic p4p s/t. Does PF ever listen to it, he needs to,, to help himself sound great again.

I've noticed in recent pics that Perry has stopped coloring his hair and getting botox. He also seems pretty determined to give both Jane's and Porno one last go round. He seems to regret wasting so much opportunity for both bands. It would be nice if they could grab Eric and finally do the type of tour (combined?) for both bands that the fans have always wanted.

I think you're wrong. Perry sounds very wistful these days. He doesn't have much time left to front these kinds of bands and he knows it. I think he sees the possibility that this is the final run. And I think with all of the talk of regret that he'd like to genuinely get it right.

But then again, I could obviously be wrong. Or be right, and they still completely fuck it up.

But I have to admit to being a little intrigued with how Perry handles the final chapters of these bands, especially with how he's been talking lately. I think he's realizing this is the last chance to put a bow on the legacy of each band.

Yeah I get it, my point is they used to appeal to people now they do not

2 big issues are that their sound the groove is completely different with dave writing the music and a session bass player .. so even on a good day they just don't sound like the same band .. and .. perrys voice and lyrics are nothing like they used to be .. can't tell if its even the same person anymore .. there is just nothing left of their main organic sound as a group and what has taken its place seems to do less not more to accentuate the pieces that are left .. dave barely had a guitar solo on the last record .. perky playing strait rawk beats .. perry not even trying to be poetic and crooning his way through what should be rockers ... still rooting for the dave steve pete watt lineup .. there is enough talent there to make some good organic sounding music .. maybe perry would meet them halfway and stop writing shitty lyrics
