All I'm saying is the music isn't bad. Perry doesn't do the track any favors. Although I'm sure he hummed or whistled it or some shit to the musicians involved so he can get more songwriting credit.

i wish musicians would stick to what they are good at .. its like they reach a point of success where they decide they have earned the right to appropriate a style that is completely not their own and prove they can do anything .. perrys voice as some kind of sultry lounge singer is just trash .. having every song be an ode to etty is not helping either .. sure lots of alt kids crushed on casey and didn't mind him singing to her here and there but its like he thinks all his fans are crushing on etty too and want songs about her in their head all the time .. do they know they are like 90 and look like phyliss diller these days .. and the production is everything i hate about modern music .. knowing that perry could get watt dave pete and steve in a beach house for a couple months and put out a really great fucking record yet putting this trash out instead continues to baffle .. they must be on some great pills to think this shit is worth the effort
