So yeah, I have been reading Whores again for the first time in like, 10 years. What did you guys think about that thing? I know the format is strange and not always fluid, but overall I am totally enjoying hitting it again. Now that I don't care ANYTHING about what Jane's and it's offshoots are doing, it has kinda freed me up to just think about it as simply a memory...a time that has long since passed. What were you guys thoughts on it?

I thought the book was great. I should probably read it again someday.

I loved it, especially the oral bio format. Perry had some great quotes before he was totally fried... the Eric lunch metaphor about a cop not saying watch your head / being nice was classic.

There is a book on Shannon Hoon that is similar in format and it is also great. Turns out the secret ingredient for Soup was not pepsi.
