I don't know if the band pays someone to be in charge of their marketing or merch or whatever, but if they do, that person should be fired, because DVDs aren't a thing for anyone under the age of 60. It's probably just Perry insisting that DVDs are the future of music or something. 30 years ago he was 10 years ahead of his time. Now he's stuck 20 years behind. It's really uninteresting and pathetic.

If it stays $30 I may have to take back saying I would buy it.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07289J2T6

I thought it would be around $20. I know there isn't much difference between $20 and $30 but $30 sound like so much more.

I looked at the Youtube page of the company that made this. If the quality is like that of "Pet Island" this is going to be great.

Give a man a pen and a notebook and he'll write you a poem.

Give a man a million dollars a year and a trophy wife, and he'll write you a review of the celebrities he hung out with at a 5 star restaurant.

Exactly. Why not make it a digital download linking to other things which may be of interest to 'fans'. I'm not saying people on here would be all over it, but The Jane's camp could be doing so much more.

I reckon they have shed loads of 1.0 stuff they could release for hard core fans.

Oh, no... they don't. We already figured that out years ago. The superfans have a pretty good idea of which shows were recorded/pro-shot, and there really isn't anything that we haven't heard/seen that would be worth it. The barrel was scraped for "Live and Rare" and "Kettle Whistle", and then re-scraped for everything since.

I only meant that the idea that a 30 year old band should sell a DVD, without any kind of online content, of a recent concert is a joke. No one wants this...

They prob have some shows we don't but nothing worth releasing...they were also under contracts which everyone forgets..just because they wrote it doesn't mean the studios want to release it.

I guarantee there are photos and music in the vaults people would want. But that stuff involves Eric.

not sure why everyone wants all this old stuff when Perry said he's written four or five albums worth of new music..... that'll come out soon, and be AWESOME

And PFP has a bunch of stuff in the can too.

And Kind Heaven should be rolling out in Vegas really soon. Probably at Caesar's Palace or The Venetian.

Perry is seriously the most profilic musician of our time. Can't wait for it all to come out. It's an exciting time to be a Jane's fan!

Don't forget dave is working on a new double solo record and perky has a new banyan album of him jamming along to noises recorded while on his toilet. That makes a total of 17 new janes related records coming out this year.

I can't wait to immerse myself in the theater of 4K.

And great-joking aside, Perry's voice in the songs sounds manipulated as fuuuuck. Wouldn't surprise me if he even went back and re-recorded some of that shit, but at least going off that trailer it sounds like an engineer had to spend 40 hours correcting every single note.

I was thinking the exact same when I saw the trailer. No way those are original live vocals.
