That dude's channel has a bunch of odd rare stuff.

As far as I remember, he's kind of a strange guy... he wanted that footage to be purchased by a major studio or something. I think maybe he still does. So he released these snippets with annoyingly long intros, at very low quality.

One of my favourite ones is the acoustic ain't no right. Incredible performance. But the clip is actually a camera pointed at a TV to intentionally make it shittier than it is. It looks like he deleted it from his old channel though... https://www.youtube.com/user/raw420x/videos

Obviously it's cool as hell that he got all that old footage (the other stuff he has like Gwen Stefani when she was a teen is crazy too). But it's not worth anything anymore, so it's just a little weird the way he's going about it.

It almost seems like that Ain't No Right was too popular so he deleted it and upped Classic Girl and Ocean Size from the same set instead...

Not to be the old guy giving history lessons...But the old hoarder trader thing actually made a lot of sense at the time..The rare stuff only came if you had money or more importantly other rare stuff...And if you gave all your rare stuff up sharing and something rare popped up you were fucked...And there was a lot of the "I'll share with you only if you give your word to not share with anyone else" your word wasn't worth anything you were also fucked...Trade with one person who trades back a year later to the original trader and you'd get caught...There was a lot of espionage back in the day so a bunch of stuff got hoarded and now years later people are just over it and sharing as the worth bottomed out

A lot of people spent a shit ton of time and money brokering deals and digging out most of what is easy to find now....Respect the game even if you don't understand it. The people who bitched the most about it wanted everything free...When more often then not those that had it payed in some way or another...

Totally respect the trader code stuff... I only found this guy a bit strange because he seemed to really think posting these clips would turn into some kind of monetization.

I hated trading myself even when stuff was "blanks and postage" fuck I have to go to the post office! I would just buy as much as I could...Still looking back music used to be more fun back in the day... Whether it was looking at an LP sleeve and wondering about what stuff was like...Or if you'd ever find a boot...Now it's just fast consume and on to the next

Apparently Jane's had been in talks to do Unplugged back around this time before they broke up. That would have been cool. But these 3 acoustic Eric-less songs are a decent consolation, I guess.

Unfortunately MTV is more likely to have only taken short clips for their news show rather record the whole show in pro .. i believe this was also the case with the MSG show which also had clips featured in their news segment
