It's been about 3 and a half years since the last new music was released:

They may not do anything this year at all. Dave is spending the next few months in NYC, Perk is doing SummerMoon, and I guess Perry is doing Kind Heaven. I think the days of thinking they could get together and make cool music are long gone.

Maybe the band will be rebranded Etty's Addiction? Although EA will have unwanted connotations to an ex bass player..

For anyone who doesn't follow Eric on Instagram, he posted a video of himself recording a bass line to what I presume is a new song of his. It's really cool and I couldn't help but imagine it as a part of new jane's material.

The potential that's been squandered due to petty ego. Unbelievable.

I've enjoyed a lot of EA's music... but that riff just sounds like a Tool out-take, or something one of my friends would produce because they think it sounds complex and deep... but really it's got no soul and it's boring.

On the topic of Eric's musical endeavors, just went back and listened to "beneath the ground" off of Life.Time. The one with the bassline that was initially "i'll protect you" from the reznor sessions. The first minute and a half of that song would have been a fucking incredible way to open a new jane's album in '09/'10 (in an alternate universe of course).

Also there's some really solid stuff off of help wanted. I like it when he writes more "traditional" songs (i.e. belly of an insect, all remote and no control) instead of the synth explorations. But it's all taste.

I would bet that Another Soulmate comes from the TPC session... It's so boring even Perry cannot make it worse

Thanks a lot dude....just re listened to this turd. The chorus isn't bad, everything else is fucking horrendous. Unless they have a "Suffer Some" lying around from 1.0 they will not release anything. Maybe a studio version of Slow Divers, it'll fit in nicely with the studio versions of Sympathy and Whores.
