A bunch on eBay starting at 40...I passed, I almost bought the promo a bunch of times but it was always too much now I could get it for 40 and have all the other og wax...I don't care anymore though...sad to see so many on eBay but so it goes...good for the record stores

yesterday went to local record store after work an it was already sold out. so got one on fleabay, also has the black Friday sticker on it

I'm going today to see if I can snag a copy.

Amoeba started selling them online this morning. Turntable doesn't seem to have started web sales yet.

Rough Trade in the UK still has some available online as of now -£30. It's £35-38 elsewhere.

I bought a copy on eBay. The guy had like 10 of them.

Yet I couldn't find a single copy of it in our massive record store here in a major city. Lame. But, whatever, it was only 30 bucks after shipping.

Why would you of all people spend money on a Perry album...You hate him?

I gotta assume the value of the rare white label promo vinyl will take a dive now thanks to this reissue. Which I guess will help ease my regret selling mine a few years back.

good point. but I wouldnt think so. they probably didn't make the new album from the 1996 version. love to get a promo copy of the 2016 also

I'm not sure what my hate for the way Perry has behaved for 20 years has to do with the fact that he put out a couple good albums in the 90s.

Based on what I've read on a couple audiophile forums, this is a new vinyl master probably cut from digital as I believe this album was originally recorded and mastered digitally. I've never heard the original white label promo LP, but this new release sounds significantly warmer and overall better then the original CD release, imo.

I did the same thing. My record store thought they'd have a couple of copies but never received them.

You can't really blame everything on Perry ...

I picked it up last night at my local record store. $27. Sounds great. I was going to wait until after Christmas but started getting nervous when I saw you all had trouble finding it.

I grabbed a copy from ebay from an Australian vendor (I'm in Sydney).

The sound quality on it is good, very happy with it.

The only downside is that I was hoping for nicer packaging e.g. gatefold jacket, printed inner sleeve when it is in a plain white paper inner sleeve & single outer jacket. When I first heard it was being issued I was hoping for coloured vinyl like the first album too.
