When do you suspect that the 4 people currently playing shows as Jane's Addiction will permanently retire the name? I'm having a hard time seeing them go much further. They're out of classic albums to play an anniversary tour for. And they're sure as shit never releasing another album.

Does kind Heaven ever actually happen? Will Jane's be the house band?

Do Jane's keep playing until they're doing the county festival circuit?

Time for ANR to do a followup interview to Sonny's interview with Eric.

That'll guarantee to get Perry's panties in a knot and he'll be inclined to once again "prove" he is the "mastermind" behind Jane's by recording yet another song slamming Eric...and then squeezing 8 or 9 half baked songs out of Dave, Perk, and some bassist's studio jams with his own iPhone vocal overdubs.

Agreed, but do you not think if they circulated a ritual/NS/Strays/GEA tour people would still go? The earth is a big place and I'm sure (if they could be bothered) they could quite easily sell out mid size venues. I mean, I would never go to London on a Tuesdsy night to see them, but if they played within 20 miles of me on a Tuesday night I would go. I'm not so sure Perry (even Dave) could be bothered though. They do seem to be a festival band these days, well in the UK anyway.

They'll keep goin as long as Perry keeps wanting them too. Theyre definitely not a band who would get a replacement singer if he quit.

I'm all for it. Just make some new music. How hard can it be to come up with a 4-6 new song ep? These guys are music veterans. They are just lazy (except Steve and Chris).

It's a shame, they alway seemed tight even during relapse and strays. Its also strange since in the interview Eric only talks shit on Perry and not Dave or Stephen. Also didn't Dave pretty much do the same thing with Sonny only in private? Just weird. Must be more to the story.

how many songs do they currently play from their last two albums? i can only think of one. why make new music when you won't play it.

Eric gave credit, but he also talked a ton of shit. I remember cringing at the number of times he said "douche chills." He definitely seemed a little pretentious at times.

I don't know. I don't think a single one of them is as cool as we ever might have thought. At least not anymore.

The guy gave the interview for the loyal and longstanding fans. Ea said nothing surprising. That he said them was.

Dn is simply taking a lazy, if convenient position. Like his band, he's just a cliche now....a bad cover of his former self
