i'm the same age as dave. he is three months older. we will both be 50 next year. my parents live in a retirement community. in five years i will be eligible to live there. i graduated from high school 30 years ago. i started posting at these silly jane's message boards when i was 34. sucks...fuck you father time.

Wow, the I had the strangest dream about Dave. Somehow he didn't go along this route he is currently on, but he in some strange twist reconciled with Kiedis and they both became hardcore surfers in santa monica.

And instead of looking like he does now he sort of went with the 1994 outdoorsy slim california vibe navarro look. I wont bash anyone for ageing, as we all will and do with every passing day, but some how I feel that his looks back then signalled a more interesting and more creative person than his current getup.














again, not to bash him or anything, or complain how things were coooler, but man look at these pictures, so much energy, coolness, youth even.... cool as fuck bunch of musicians out in los angeles making assess of themselves, the possibilities....

Happy Bday Dave. It's 6/8 here in Japan, so I guess my son has the same birthday in a way. Even if I said mean things before, Dave still is a cool dude and I used to really look up to him.
