Guy Smiley's drunk posts are the best.

Seems he didn't write a love letter to Perkana this time....so not his best work....but I am a fan!

These are pretty cool. Are there more? I'd like to hear Summertime Rolls and Three Days. A cursory search turns up Katy Perry, but no.....Perry.

I think there's Mountain Song and Whores (NINJA version), but that's it for isolated Jane's tracks, as far as I know. (oh and maybe Irresistable Force too, but who cares.)

:noclue: I just enjoy adult beverages and at times stumble into this site. My disappointment in this band just makes it hard for me to listen to anything even sober from them.

Yeah, something like that.

Little bit druk atm. I check this site daily, and other than that live lp, it s been some ages since I listened to them.

The way they fuck up and don t care is incredible. Instead of remastering and reissuing their stuff and try to get some new fans with their old and good stuff they just fuck up till no one, not even their loyal fans will care . As this site proves

Hearing the isolated vocals on Jane Says makes it so much clearer how the entire melody of the song was carried by Perry and his layered, processed vocals. That's probably a major reason why the two latest "Jane's Addiction" albums don't sound right.

They were multi-track stems for either the Guitar Hero or Rock Band games half a decade ago. Several bands like Van Halen, The Beatles, Aerosmith and AC/DC did entire games based on only their songs. People would rip the multi-tracks MOGG files from the game and post them on torrent sites. People would download them and use audio editing programs like Reaper or Soundforge to remix or make isolated instrument tracks. I went through a short phase around that time downloading hundreds of songs and fiddling with them, usually making instrumental only tracks to listen to.

I don't know how many ripped MOGG files exist for JA songs, but I have Mountain Song, Stop and BCS. Also, Janes posted the multi-tracks for that awful "Irresistable Force" tune for a remix contest back around the time the album was released.

stop vocals would be cool just for the 'and the water will run' part

i like to fiddle with those things too
