Honestly would rather pay to see an hour and a half of instrumentals like this rather than Perry straining through the songs and embarrassing himself with awkward banter.

Don't forget Liberace outfits and giving Etty goo goo eyes.

That was pretty fuckin' cool. Dave is looking ... kinda weird with the balloon-ceps and short hair.

Really?

Did you ever see TPC live? Because those fuckers killed it.

Yes. And he will.

He'll hoarse voice talk his way through whatever they play, making up new melodies on the spot, just like the last 8 tours. Don't act like we haven't been through this before.

Absolutely fantastic. They sound tight, and I loved the keyboard work.

Like Peyton Manning here in the Rocky Mountains, it's a bummer when the head guy is actually the weak link on the team/group.

I agree... at this point, I'd actually be up for a concert of instrumentals, sans crooning.

Nah, I just listened to the album and it was 12 songs of generic cockrock trying in vain to get into KROQ rotation. If they'd have actually stretched out with some pieces like this, they could have had something.

You've got Buckley's chance of it ever being as good as that. Like Japhy, if they hit the UK I would go. Can't see them making the effort though. And I wouldn't do a festival either.

Wow, that sounds fantastic, wish morgan was there, or if they must a fill in like chaney.

I would seriously go to Saturday's show if it were $40-50, but perry/etty just kind of ruin it for me.

Half off for instrumental performance.....? :noclue:

Tweet your request to Etty with the caveat that you buy her a pair of Jimmy Choo high heels. They'll be there in a snap!

I just wish they would do something like The Cure did with the trilogy shows. Self titled, Nothings Shocking and Ritual all in one bang. I would defiantly go to these. I guess that might be asking to much. :noclue: On another note, Nothings Shocking than Ritual would be cool. Why do they have to break it up? ummmm...never-mind.

I'd rather they do a show where they are just as heavy on Strays and TGEA, as Ritual and NS.

But that would require a 2 hour performance, and Perry is incapable of singing for more than 20 minutes.

Is this in standard tuning? Janes added a keyboard to this tour too I think.

I don't have an instrument with me, but it definitely has that standard tuning feeling. The tempo, on the other hand, is shameful.
