I was kind of wondering if we'd go all the way through the holidays without a Janes related post.SR wrote: yes, the last activity before today was almost a week ago

well perk and pete already have hellride
maybe a side project called 'kind heaving'
it could refer to that nauseous feeling you get while being nice enough to give another janes related project a listen

Folie a deux
Re: Perry Farrell talks Eric Avery
If we have to lose Jane's to gain a new season of Ink Master, I am all for it at this point.
Ink Master is more entertaining.

Also since Oliver has tattooed me I would say that he is a lot nicer than Perry at this point since Perry never hooked me up with ink. For real though Oliver and the rest at Elm Street in Dallas are fucking insanely good.Six7Six7 wrote:If we have to lose Jane's to gain a new season of Ink Master, I am all for it at this point.

it was via iChat just like the one you've seen. the only problem being eric avery isn't as well lit and i wasn't as dedicated the current questions. i moved on from the reasons he rejoined and reasons he quit. i went all crazy fan at one point and had to bring it back in. it was also just random lengths, rather than concise 10-15min sections.elbuitre wrote:So I guess Sonny's phone interview never surfaced?
it's rough and unedited and i'd have to check with avery before releasing it.
and he wouldn't play me the one song they finished "embrace the darkness", the other was only instrumental and avery was suppose to use it on his last album.

Cool - thanks for answering my question about that. Hopefully one day we will get to hear that song. We all know the context, so I don't think it would be judged too harshly amongst us. Just viewed as an interesting experiment.sonny wrote:and he wouldn't play me the one song they finished "embrace the darkness", the other was only instrumental and avery was suppose to use it on his last album.
Eric eventually said that the instrumental with the I'll protect you bassline became "beneath the ground".

Which is a pretty killer bass line.
Re: Perry Farrell talks Eric Avery
Totally agree. Even before I found out beneath the ground was I'll protect you, I thought to myself "this is Jane's." Kinda confirms my suspicion that a new record with Avery would've been totally worthwhile.hokahey wrote:Noonesshocking wrote:Cool - thanks for answering my question about that.
