Remember 5 years ago when Jane's Addiction was on the brink of becoming relevant again and bringing back some credibility and mystique to their name? Eric was in the band, they were playing small club gigs (with cool set lists), possibly recording a new album, working with Trent Reznor, etc? Well, that was their third chance (after 1991 and 1997) and they fucking blew it. Whether or not people like NIN/Trent Renzor is irrelevant. If they had stuck close with him, opportunities that they never would have got otherwise would have likely presented themselves.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist as to why the band is playing for $0.75 a seat before fake Alice In Chains. For the slow people, here's just one of the MANY reasons:
Jane's Addiction can point fingers and blame fan sites and what not...but at the end of the day, they did this to themselves.
