I've never said anything remotely like that. I've always stated that I am a casual/moderate NIN fan and have voiced a number of gripes about songs Trent has recorded.

I think that most people feel that way in part because they were old songs that we already have burned into our brains (in a specific form). If it had been new material, things might have been different. I think the production on the studio versions of "Whores" and "Chip Away" has more of an old Jane's feel than either Strays or TGEA.
