I'm having a really hard time believing this story. The timing seems really off. It couldn't have been mid nineties. Late nineties? I guess. But the (one or two?)Gobalee shows were pretty decent productions as I recall.

Let's say in 95 he wanted to just do a quick 20 minutes on the second stage at lollapalooza. (which he did, with PFP on some dates, I believe)

I could see him throwing together some electronic tracks to drop on everyone as a surprise. Because back in the 90s, before cellphone cameras, bands would play new material live all the time, LOOOOONG before any actual recording of said music happened.

He had a wacky idea, and it never came to fruition. Like i said before, IMAGINE THAT.
