This can't be good. Saying "it's a quicky" is like when your friend shows you this song he just composed in his basement, and before he plays he says like "I still can't quite sing it" or "It's a bit slow, but I like it". Like apologizing in advance. 9 out of 10 times, the song is a piece of shit. In Perry's case, 10/10.

in looking through that site perry, dave, eric and stephen have writing credits on this so they sampled something. is it just that little drum part because that is the only thing i recognize.

Perhaps perry pushed for them to record this song specifically because he knows duffs gonna be on this Alice and chains tour with walking papers.

Jane's can play it in Duff's presence every night on this tour, as if to say "see what genius you could have been a part of?"

This is new janes. You might of thought strays was on a level only bob ezrin of pink floyd fame could handle but this new song is something you wont ever forget.

perry thinks his song is called "sole"mate not "soul"mate .. you can have more than one "soul" mate .. its called a tribe .. like that "gathering of the" that perry ripped off for lollapalooza .. in fact we are all connected souls .. reflections of each other rather than individual .. and if perry can only have one .. i am pretty sure it was casey .. but that seems pretty silly that there is only ONE other person you can truly connect to ever .. i wonder if perry is gonna hold up a can of rockstar energy drink instead of his usual bottle of wine/dobel during up the beach .. at least it will be a different song than usual in the setlist this summer .. maybe they will add sympathy too .. since anything that appears on a crappy tv show is now considered a hit .. soulmate, nusympathy, superhero .. i am gonna have to drink a lot of booze to get thru this concert without turning grouchy .. i'm up for it tho

i think his vocals sound ridiculous in the beginning. it almost doesnt even sound like him because its so high pitched. ill wait to hear the whole thing though to reserve full judgement
