The P4P vinyl for record store day (which I'll be getting tomorrow) is being released on Brookvale Records.

We could not be happier about this release. We are releasing this album with our friends ENJOY THE RIDE RECORDS. This will be an official 2013 Record Store Day release. There are two colors. One will be available in the USA (Tie Dye) and one will be available in Europe (Blue) we are making 1000 of each color. If we have extra after Record Store Day they will be available on this site starting Sunday April 21st.

Having had the opportunity to meet and play with Pete a few times I have gotten to understand how much he's been through and how much of him is about being humble and showing his appreciation for people who've helped him overcome certain hardships...so when people make jokes about his relationship with Perry etc, I think they're missing part of the picture...I wish them the best and I KNOW Pete will bring something out of Perry we haven't seen in a while...he's that kinda guy...

It's all speculation and opinions from all of us here at best...so I don't think I was making any "proclamations". Honestly? Pete's may indeed feel like he owes Perry something...knowing what little we know it's easy to say. My OPINION is that working with Pete is probably drastically different from working with Dave Navarro, or Eric Avery or anyone who's going to walk into a room with much going on in the way of ego...so my OPINION is that Perry will likely handle the proceedings differently that he would most people...and to agree with you Pete will play his heart out...so imo that will result in something perhaps less forced than we've grown to expect...no, I don't expect Pete to stop Perry from being who he is, but I think he'll be a little different. Let's not forget the few Satellite Party songs that worked well came from Pete...

I wonder if Watt is going to be on all the recordings that they're working on, but I am looking forward to it. Pete and Perry do have a song writing chemistry so I think it will be pretty good. Remember this is almost 20 years ago that they last put out a record, so some things may have changed but I think they will still have a good dynamic in the studio.

Yeah but the level of animosity between Eric and Perry killed it, there has to be a happy medium and I think this can be a good thing.

Don't get your hopes up high. Although most of you around here think the other Porno-members were capable of getting some magic out of Perry, I'm of a different opinion. I liked Porno but it never made me superenthousiastic. It was in fact a big dissapointment after the mighty Jane's. I really didn't give them a chance back in the day because of that. Over the years I learned to appreciate it more on it's own merits. An ok band, but nothing magical. 20 years later I don't expect it to be more than it was back then. It can probably live up to the expectations because my expectations just aren't that high.

For the last 3 years I have been having the best time making Lance Herbstrong what it is. The young generation is into it and I am super grateful. I never forget where I come from and want to learn from the old school fans. Hydro is throwing a circle jam in Ohio in early June at a club then BBQ jam next day. Everyone is invited to get up and jam and talk about how to capture and perform the mojo. It has been amazing growing up with you all and look forward to growing old with you all. I will never forget Essence wanting to fight on my behalf and was waiting for the guy to have a brawl. You are my teachers and I want to serve ya well. I wish we could all hang and jam :)

I think being honest & true to yourself comes through in music and people appreciate that. We are ever evolving beings so I think a persons music always evolves.
Where you were personally, professionally and spiritually isn't the same as it was 20, 15 or even 10 years ago. We mature, music matures.

I think I finally accepted things and realized that if its not awesome I still have the first two P4P records to listen to and then seeing what Pete is posting shows that he cares about that band as much as we do in terms of P4P. Also if Watt is doing bass on the whole album I doubt he would let it be bad either.

I came to the same realization with Janes, though I saw some relapse shows like KV said, I would probably be more butt hurt had I saw 1.0 (especially with the songs being in commercials). No matter what any of them do, we can always listen to XXX, NS, and RdlH.
