I still read Rolling Stone when I am waiting for my coffee. I actually find it pretty fascinating how much it has changed just in my magazine-reading lifetime. They make a half-decent effort on their website too, but I don't think it is enough to keep them alive in the long term. Just my un-solicited two cents :dunce:.

Because it probably was. Once Britney and BSB started becoming their cover stories, it was over.

I agree with the comment that their online presence isn't that bad though. I read the online version from time to time

Rolling Stone stopped being even remotely cool by the end of the 70's when they started printing on glossy paper and featuring shit like the cast of Star Wars on the cover. The rock mag that was legitimately "cool" back in the day was Creem when they had guys like Lester Bangs writing for them. British metal mag Kerrang in the early to late 80's was an occasional guilty pleasure as well.

The fact that they have spent 50 years giving Bob Dylan positive reviews is proof enough they are full of shit.

Seriously, who the fuck really likes that guy? I don't get it.

Dylan was the only icon-like musician who publicly advocated TPC.

Not to my knowledge. I was attempting to lie.
