i think it would be fun to see the songs live and perry's modern day voice is better suited to the songs on the first album than jane's songs. i think we all know that they will never put out a new album. pete is pretty excitable and perry makes plans he never follows through with. bring pete out and do 6 p4p songs a night and play a two hour set like most bands.

I'd love to see it, but the only problem is it would be great for everyone except Dave. Why would he want to do that? This would essentially turn every show into Perry's Rev album. Seeing the clip of Cursed Female from Chicago was awesome and I would love to see a tour with Pete, but it kind of cheapens both bands and (yeah I know Stephen's in both also) turns it into a Perry solo show.

idk, not me. I think the music and spirit of Porno For Pyros AND the style that Pete brought to it deserves it's own time. Small club, short tour, hit the major city's and play in the most underground clubs. Three night per city. 21 and over;)

I was at Pete's West Seattle show on Sunday night. Wouldn't have even known it was happening if blackcoffee didn't send me that PM!
It was pretty sweet. Just Pete showing up, using the guitars and setup they had on hand, and playing with random local musicians. The band, The Bend opened, and they were pretty good. It was Pete's friend's birthday, so Pete had us all sing Happy Birthday to him, and announced that his friend is 10 years clean of heroin...then upstaged him by saying he himself is 15 years clean The night was mostly a huge jam session, with cover songs thrown in. The cover of "No Quarter" was excellent, with the guy who did vocals on it remarking after the song, "You know that moment when you realize you just made it to the next level...?" It was that awesome! Besides that, there were some dualing guitar sessions Pete took part in, but probably the best thing that night was when this punk chick took the stage for vocals and they did a Stooges cover. Not sure what song, but it was intense.

I couldn't believe how short Pete was! Then again, I'm 6'4".



Oh, and Pete kept going on and on about how Seattle has the best musicians and the best bands!

GGU is one of my albums I listen to when I actually smoke pot so its just a different vibe for me, love that album and I spent a lot of time listening to it in Honduras living on Roatan so I'm partial to that vibe and I think it would be a way for them to age gracefully and NOT destroy the band.
