S&M has posted 16 times and gets shit.....to what end? He/she loves Perry. So what? It's one thing to share one's own negativity but to shit on others is weak. :thumb:

I don't know what you're talking about.

Perry reads this board and this is how we communicate to him.

No one thinks less of PF than I in his present state....I'm just saying, it's a bored for Jane's fans that has mutated into a social club.

Anyone remember when ABC's "In Concert" was revived in the early 90s? They had some good bands on here and there (Alice In Chains, Fishbone, etc).

I remember that.

I wish they would bring something like that back. But I think the music climate needs to be better first. There are no young bands right now that are also huge.

True...but there were a lot of bands on In Concert that weren't "huge". Alice In Chains was pre-Dirt and Fishbone was never huge at their commercial peak. But I hear what you're saying. During the 00s, a resurrected "In Concert"-type show would have been cool, with the likes of The White Stripes, Arcade Fire, etc coming up through the ranks.

To be fair, I think the majority of the bands would be bands reforming in the attempt to earn "nuff dollar". Might not be a bad thing for some people, but I doubt you'd get many established bands who are still together on there. Like Pandemonium mentioned, all the great tv shows for music have been done. I used to love the Tube but The Word was my favourite. I think TV is saturated with all that X-factor nonsense, so maybe there is a slot for one? :noclue:

I always thought Mike Bordin had a weird set up. Both his ride and hi hat on the left, played with his left hand. Cool though.
