Packin' .25 was so awesome. In the vein of rap music. Perry reporting from the streets of L.A. during the time of the riots. Such great lyrics.

About half of it.. or maybe less.. Gonna listen to it now again...

IMO the "softer/airier" songs were trying to head in a new direction.. I think the idea for these songs was very much in its infancy and because of that, they fail to hit the mark or get to where they were intended..

It's like they're trying to be the next progression or evolution of I Would For You but whereas I Would For You excels cos of it's simplicity and "rawness" - these just seem try-hard and well... hippy.... ugh..
