That sounds more intense and firey than anything I've seen Jane's play in years.

Despite no harmonica, that sounds really good, easily the best thing I've seen from this tour.

i wish it picked up the audio better.

It sounded so good last night. With Chaney taking care of the low end, Dave in the mid range, and Pete playing higher, the sound was just so full and awesome.

Umm, how refreshing is it to see a sincerely delivered (and insane) tune delivered with dignity, passion, and a bit of humility. Music, about music....Never saw PFP, but I bet the live versions are unchained....

speaking of p4p :noclue:
Martyn LeNoble:
One side note... I've always hated the lyrics in "Packin' 25" from PFP. Unnecessary grandstanding, macho talk and glorifying of violence.

pete and dave doing howard stern hardchager and mt. song sounded pretty great too .. this kicks ass .. perry hangs in there vocally .. 2 guits super heavy .. hearing daves stupid guitar effects on underground right after is a stark contrast between what they should be doing and what they are doing .. pete should join up and they should drop tgea and stays and start playing pfp and good gods in the set ... kudos for NOT playing pets and going with cursed female instead ..

I'm not sure how astute this observation is but it is based in my recent experience watching DN on both large and ver small stages, and with other guitarists. His racing to the other side of the stage here to jam with Pete was an anomolous act on his part and I'd have to think it was appreciated.

i knew that would be the case.

That Panocast camera was fucking worthless.

Wow, you can watch the crowd! and the amps! and the crew on the floor!

Just stick a goddamn camera on the band please. and broadcast it in HD. it's 2012.
I thought the same thing, even if I zoomed in the band, the image kept moving...It was annoying as hell. Loved Cursed Female too...worst Jane Says I've ever heard.

He looked like he was having a lot of fun playing with Pete, I think Pete is in good standing with everyone. The band, the fans  he should probably be recruited to the band and then also have the dual role as the counselor. :lolol:

Yea that was cool. Sounded WAY better than Splash and Twisted. Play I. Force from the new album. At least it's a bit of rocker.

Pete really should join! They could do Hard Charger, Cursed Female and Meija. Those songs mixed in with Janes would be fantastic. Imagine 2 guitars on Three Days..Wow. Oh well.

Lame. Packin' .25 is such an awesome song. Perry was very much in "gansgta" mode around that time in his swagger, lyrics, etc. That whole album was a "street" album, and that song fit right in.

I like that album. But I do hate Packin 25. But Sadness, Meija and Cursed Female are classic Perry songs IMO.

I've never liked Perry playing 2nd guitar live on 3 Days. Totally distracting. Works alright in the studio version but not live, probably because Perry's turned up too high in the mix.

Perry doesn't play a note on the studio version I'm sure. That's all Dave and his layering

i just thought it was an odd thing to say. maybe someone mentioned it to him when he was going on his anti gun rant.
