The thing about this line up and this hour was it was the opposite of the autopilot years — and seeing Josh flailing around and falling to his knees as he rips through the songs was wild.

I got so used to the same set and patter and performances.

I do blame Chaney. I’m sure he’s solid but his energy paved a way for the band to just punch a ticket

If Dave does come back I really hope he’s on board with what seems to be a reinvigorated band

Short interview with Perry. At the 2:04 mark you can tell he didn’t want to address Dave and asked afterward to edit a lot of it out.

Yes, very awkward. Perry was put on the spot for sure. I think he gave a good answer. Obviously, there's more to the Dave story than what has been revealed. Perry recognized that it's not his place to tell. It made me wonder if he doesn't really know what's going on either.

I didn't watch the interview, but I am guessing that Dave is dealing with real depression. Which would explain having fine relations with the band, but not being with them. Getting out every once in a while , and people who are close not wanting to talk about it.

Two things seem obvious from that interview...pregnant pause then DN is "at best, ok" is not a resounding endorsement of his condition and if PF could have been at the TH tribute he certainly would have.

Tour merch is 30% off at janesaddictionmerch.com this weekend. They added the John Anson Ford show shirt as well. That one isn't for sale, but interesting they're making new (old) shirts again.

It’s because excellent quality bootlegs are all the rage these days and taking a piece of the pie. Suddenly all of these older alt rock band like Jane’s and NIN are reprinting 30+ year old shirts “out of the blue”.

There’s a huge American bootlegger market happening via Instagram right now.

Good point. I've actually bought some t-shirts like that off of IG, nothing JA related though.

I purchased the tour poster. It’s really cool. It came shipped the cheapest way possible from the shipper. It was semi-rolled inside a poster shipping box. Like not even rolled over once. It came with a few minor dents as a result. You’d think items would be shipped a little more securely.

Honestly, I was blown away when I saw them in Anaheim. Yes, the Three days solo was lacking, as well as some of the other songs, but I like what Troy did and made me appreciate him more a guitarist. Jane Says, which I am so burnt out on, had a renewed energy. Perry sang the song different, and I love how Troy added the atmospherics. Troy actually played the string part on Then She Did, which was a wow factor. I have seen Janes so many times over the years that I was contemplating not even going but I walked away with a big smile on my face. I didn't even go for the Pumpkins, which I left in the 90's. Opening up with Kettle Whistle was awesome and really set the mood. I would of never have gone if Chaney was still in the band. The chemistry between Eric and Perkins. OMG!

Dave has sure gotten quiet. He went from posting on IG constantly throughout the tour to not posting at all for the past 2 weeks.

He's been pretty active under lifeafterdeathstreet...multiple daily posts, which makes sense given that street art is one of the things a recent research study published by Johns Hopkins suggests helps those suffering with long covid.

Anyone know what brand of shirt(s) they used for the tour merch and what is being sold on the official site?

The flyer hoodie is Gildan, the Itz My Party long sleeve is Bella Canvas, and the Unity white tshirt is Tulex. Just checked for you.

So for anyone who cares, that tour poster came in a poster tube. I did order 2 shirts though, so maybe that's why it got put in a tube as opposed to loose. Also, the white shirt is Tultex, not Tulex like I said earlier.

I’m kind of a merch snob when it comes to quality…so I can’t believe bands are now charging $40-$45 for shirts on their sites and they’re still printing on subpar brand of tees.

God forbid Tom Morello is contributing guitar to new Jane’s addiction material. 😝

I'd rather have Chaney play guitar.
