Fuck, bman, what the fuck are you doin'? Learn to embed, you goon.

I'll redo this one because it's actually pretty fucking cool. Probably the most interesting thing they've done since they headlined that hippie festival:

i don't think they have ever performed the NS version of Pigs In Zen live before .. during the golden era they always used the xxx 'pig is led to the slaughter' or just plain blathered about something else in the middle .. which was one of the cooler things about collecting live shows .. so this is indeed cool .. minus the chris is my friend garbage .. idiots was pretty cool too .. but seriously .. don't think I have EVER heard perry sing "like an eagles clawwwww" live ever before ...

Good on Idiots except tempo. I like the accelerated original, but it was fun to hear.

For some reason I can't get that jazzy Idiots out of my head. 1st off, they never play it, and it's really the only funky hippidy dippidy Janes song there is. It was great to see that and Standing in the Shower.

Some nice soloing by Dave on Pigs. A lot more energy and excitement than what we have heard from him lately.

Deep cuts rocked in those clips. Dave can still impress when he's engaged in something he hasn't played to death the past 25 years. Perry's vox sound good too, but I have trouble giving that dillweed any props these days no matter how good he sounds.

So now I know what happened on Jane Says. Perry forgot a verse!
Understandable when they're doing special shows like these. I mean, it must be hard to remember songs you perform them so rarely...

I'll bet Taylor Hawkins would have remembered the words, since, you know, he was the guy rehearsing with the band while Perry went and walked a red carpet to talk about his new hologram band.

But Jane Says?! I can take the gibberish he says in other songs, but they play that song every freaking time (they close shows with it for fuck's sake!)

I thought he'd play the solos as close to note for note as they are on the record, that's what he said in the quote I posted, but that's not what he's doing at all. Still sounds all right, but as always the tuning fucks it up for me

They played Whores by the looks of it mate... that's all that really stood out in the way of 'different'. Might well have done the full 6 songs though which makes it a 17 song set... all depends if all 6 were actually played.

It'll be cool a year or two from now when they play Ritual live in its entirety, and Perry performs the CD intro of Aint no Right. They'll probably even bring a dog on tour mic'd up so Been Caught Stealin stays genuine to the album version..
