I don't get the negative shit that goes on here for him.. JA does not have the magic to write any more bass-driven/heavy/centric songs any more and just rehash their golden oldies (plus a few new nuggets...), they need a guy who can play the songs well and solidly which is what he does.

He doesn't have a large or looming stage presence but in that band with Perry and Dave, who are the "big personalities", it's not like it would work to have an in your face bass player so he fits the hole nicely...

I believe they played "Stop" complete with suspension chicks and the Etty duo gyrating their MILFy bods on the pedestals. If the horrible Youtube clip I saw is any indication, Perry sounded pretty awful.

the way they were hugging and cuddling up to Chaney, they must have really had to convince him to participate .. poor guy .. its like Chaney is the only guy in the band that knows that Janes Addiction became completely irrelevant beginning with Strays .. and on top of it Chris didn't even write anything on Strays and TGEA .. he just came in and played other peoples bass parts ..

the way Dave and Stephen were gushing over how much they are a family with "ups and downs" you can tell they had some kind of HUGE ass fight recently ... Perrys old stories made all the awkwardness disappear for a moment .. but only for a moment
