So St. Louis is the tour opener huh? Weird.

Tickets on sale in an hour. I'm excited. I won't be when I see the $100 out of my account and read some ridiculous Perry tweet.

But hey, they met my criteria for going.

Local

Theater/club

New show (by all accounts)

Reasonable ticket prices

It's almost like when I saw them with Eric. I felt like I owed it to my teenage self to see Jane's with Eric, and I owe it to my younger self to see them in a club I used to dream they'd play.

They're not playing anywhere near me on this run so I will not be seeing them which sucks but whatever I get to see WuTang tomorrow so that should be fun

I got my ticket too Hoka. I read on Facebook that its already sold out, ooops I meant scalped out since all shows at the Pageant are. Its amusing as fuck to see that Pollstar ranking when I've had spares to "sold out" shows there and could not give them away outside, yet it was "sold out". Supposedly balcony's are already $125 on Stubhub. I could have had a balcony seat, but I want dead center in the bar section.

I got GA. I'll be in the pit. It's Jane's. I wouldn't know what else to do. I'll have to pretend like they're not a bunch of old queers now and just go nuts like always.

Yeah the overall vibe of the shows seems cool so I will go if they add an Austin date there are a lot of places they can play and it would be cool

Holy shit. Tix are going for crazy amounts. I should have bought an extra pair. At least if I find out they're going to be doing something super fucking lame I can turn a profit.

They always go for crazy amounts at first. Then the scalpers realize that they are sitting on 60 pairs of tickets no one is buying and the price comes down.

got tickets for the NJ show. $111 for two, but fuck it why not. Like Hoka said I'll have to act like it's 91 and I'm 20 again.

Doing a great job getting myself hyped for this show. I wasnt sure it was still possible. Being down in the pit will help with getting absorbed in to the music and forgetting what I need to forget about these guys. But if they play Superhero, I swear to god...

Not all of us got to see them with Eric in a small club. I'm settling for it being my second small club show. If this was in a large venue I'd probably skip it. As it is, I'll be in the pit.

The band is still very very good. The recent NYC Irving plaza shows were pretty fucking great. I've been pretty spoiled in recent years with this band. Seeing them with Eric in a small club and with Ninja a few times, getting backstage etc. But For some reason this theater tour isn't getting me excited. I'm hitting 3 East Coast shows. I'm going to really try not to look at setlists! I think I'm not that excited b/c they just haven't been creative with their live shows recently. I HOPE they really come up with something new this go round.

I must be getting old. The thought of being in "the pit" sounds terrible to me. I am so pleased that my $67.50 ticket is a comfortable seat and no standing around for 3 hours before the show starts. :oldtimer:

Oh, I have never seen JA in a small venue, The venue I'm seeing them in is about 2700 capacity.
