I’m a ridiculously sentimental person. Dan Cleary posted Eric and Dave’s picks together and that had me feeling incredibly nostalgic. Now seeing this…whoa.

I’ve been around since the Jane’s mailing list days and outside of Relapse, this is the most excited I’ve been in a long long time. This doesn’t feel like it’s going to be some rehashed old shit. I’m optimistic it could be something great.

I took the Jane’s fellas on a field trip today to check out a historic @janesaddiction relic… @perryfarrellofficial’s handmade sculpture from the cover art for Ritual De Lo Habitual. They had not laid eyes on this in 25+ years. As we get ready to head to Europe to remind the world just who these motherf***ers are… sometimes it’s good to remember where you came from. @mikegdrummer captured this incredible pic of Perry admiring his past. Never expected this...all four doing a dig for this relic? Only die hards and the band get this. The NS guitar was returned a few years ago (but I think DN gave it away). Would love to see that onstage again somewhere/somehow. Too, the Brahms bass, and some lights and candles. Twins? There appear to be some other items from back in the day in there as well.

If I recall correctly - She wasn’t invited to a show (mount Baldy?) and there was some rich guy there she was trying to take advantage of.. mooch off. So she broke into Perrys place, smashed up the sculptures and left a note with some bad poetry, threatening to ‘come back and take Perrys life’

As for Inger Lorre, I had a super insane exchange with her via Facebook a number of years back. Pretty certain she has an undiagnosed mental illness or personality disorder. When I was a teenager, her antics seemed edgy (peeing on the label exec’s desk, putting maggots in her mouth, etc)…now in middle age, I see it as totally cringe.
