I couldn’t get past the first 5 minutes. Just a guy rambling about Janes with a lot of weird visual effects happening.
Re: How Jane's Addiction Changed Music Forever
He sounds like a fan. Why not welcome him?
I enjoyed watching it

I like how when he claims Jane's did this or that, he then provides a good example.

"I tried hard to have a father but instead I had a dad"
Sometimes I forget that Jane's broke up in September of 1991 and Nevermind from Nirvana came out that same month.

Re: How Jane's Addiction Changed Music Forever
His interpretation of that kind is very weird to me. He interprets it as Kurt saying instead of having a father, he had Janes music. Assuming he is referencing that song, I believe he’s saying he wanted a father, but like song, his father wasn’t present.
Re: How Jane's Addiction Changed Music Forever
That song isn’t inspired by Janes- he’s explicitly referencing his relationship with his father and his parents divorce
He liked Janes but bikram yoga stretch to make that connection in the video

I never was into Nirvana but when Kurt died my immediate thought was we just lost a great songwriter.someguy wrote: ↑Sat Apr 01, 2023 2:22 pmThat song isn’t inspired by Janes- he’s explicitly referencing his relationship with his father and his parents divorce
