So I am thinking and thinking- did he post it on twitter- was it an interview that I saw a video of, or maybe I read it somewhere???

I guess those 3 or 4 songs they haven't played much weren't to Perry's liking so instead of rehearsing them a couple times, they just strike them from the set. That's about right.

I don't have an instrument with me, but it definitely has that standard tuning feeling. The tempo, on the other hand, is shameful.

A lot of that was pretty good, musically. Perry sounded like balls, though. Both times he sang "All now with wings" I got embarrassed for him.

Perry sounds pretty excellent on this version of "Stop." Credit where credit's due.

Give credit where credit is do: I listened to the audio from somewhere. The audio from Obvious, Of Course and Classic Girl sounded great. I thought Perry did a good job on those songs. Almost 1991 era passion.

As someone said weekly on the Sopranos, they got some set of balls on them.
Is it not just a comedy bit that they're doing a ritual tour and not playing ritual. And while it might make some sense that a shorter festival set is different, they could have routed this tour differently or made it clear in their announcements that these were not ritual shows.

Yeah, there's numerous shows going back to 2001 where especially Then She Did missed most of entire tours. They didn't play 3 Days during the Avery reunion LA club shows.

On the Strays tour, or at least the show I went to (Nottingham, UK), we didn't get 3 days or then she did. We did get Ted though.

Jane's only has about 15 songs they actually do play live.

The chances of not getting one of those three is pretty low.

for sure then she did has been a rarity over the years after 1.0 and relapse. (i thought it was the high point of the relapse tour, and probably perry's best song, but i digress.)
but a show where not one of the three long songs are played? i don't recall that ever happening.
