This final season has been pretty lame so far, but I will watch to the bitter end.

I'm trying to think of other tv series that had such awful final seasons.... X-Files and Dexter come to mind atm.

How many episodes are left? I just hope Tara is finally put to rest. Guess just me and another friend are the only ones watching this

Last night was episode 8, maybe 2-4 episodes left. The series can't end soon enough, it is beyond lame, yet I keep watching too.

I stopped watching two seasons ago. Don't miss it at all.

I haven't seen the last two, and I'm having a hard time finding the will to continue. Instead of being proud, I'm actually annoyed with myself. I like finishing things. I've come this far, through so much crap. To miss the last few episodes after all of that doesn't sit right with me. I'd like to see this thing all the way into the ground.

I didn't watch it the last two weeks, but I caught up after my holidays. Sad, but I would have understood what was going on without catching up. Last night was not so bad.

There's two more episodes left. I do give them credit for slowly but surely resolving certain dumb subplots and wiping out some of the more obnoxious secondary characters but the show still deserves to be called Tru Facepalm for all the stupid shit that happens every EP.

I'm not, any time I can see Stellan Skarsgard naked, I'm happy.

The bit with Eric and Ginger at the end of the last episode was pretty funny.

Done. They salvaged a laughable bad first half of the season with a few decent episodes to end it. Amusingly, my recording ended during the extended epilog just as Eric and Pam were shilling New Blood.

I can't complain, it was alright. Really thought Bill was going to make it. That scene with Sookie covered in blood still makes me want to puke. I wish they had kept Alcide since they decided to keep Eric with clothes

Now I'm going to feel a huge void. I don't have a show that made me complain so much. Also, the book series were done last year and I just read the last book a couple of weeks ago.
Just saw that Boardwalk Empire last season is going to be next (at least here in Latinamerica). Haven't seen much of it, but guess it won't be hard to follow.

I don't understand how they couldn't give Lafayette, who in my opinion, was the only consistently amusing/interesting character left on the show a single line during the final episode. Not. One. Line.

Just a half a second appearance at the very end? Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

I didn't exactly hate the show like a lot of people here seemed to, but I hated the final episode.

I was disappointed about that too. He was one of my fave characters. I was happy that they finally wrote in a love interest for him, kinda late in the series to develop it though.

Who is the father of Sookie's baby? I don't know if I missed something or it was meant to be left open for speculation.

I liked the show too, just the last couple of seasons went downhill for me.

I think it was Will Riker from Star Trek Next Generation:

The fact you only saw him from behind was clearly intended to be an open mystery.

Yeah, she just moved on with an Alcide lookalike :noclue:
Lazeedivee told me the author of the book series had a cameo. Now I have to watch it again
In the books Sookie ends up with Sam.
