Thanks cunt!!!!! Last episode set in motion her spoiler bullshit so she was right.
All the way down to the Cersei/Jamie storyline and last 5 minutes at the wall. Only surprise was the winterfell storyline, I guess I told her to shut up before ruining that too! Still, great finale! Even though the season was slightly on fast forward it was still awesome and I can't wait until....January 2019???
When Does Games of Thrones Season 8 Start?
Unfortunately, we don't have a Game of Thrones season 8 premiere date yet. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, told Collider that the final season of the show will start production in October. If the show follows a similar schedule as it has in the past, that means Game of Thrones season 8 could start as early as next summer or as late as spring 2019, depending on how long and CGI-intensive the episodes are.
Casey Bloys, HBO's head of programming warned Entertainment Weekly in June that fans may have to go 18 months without dragons and direwolves. The episodes could drop at the end of 2018 or sometime in 2019.

I felt bad for Littlefinger.

Can a dead dragon really spit that shit?

How long of a wait before the next season?
I didn't feel bad at all for Littlefinger. I will miss him, though.
Didn't expect them to do that shit in the end. I'll have to wait for tomorrow to find a theory about this. My guess, dragon is sort of magical (undead more) and wall is magical, so this shit definitely worked. I'm more disappointed in Jon for thinking with his dick. My mom thinks they might have a dragon after this.

‘Game of Thrones’ Will Shoot Multiple Endings to Prevent Spoilers
By JEREMY EGNERSEPT. 14, 2017

Plagued by leaks during its recently concluded seventh season, “Game of Thrones” is resorting to an old TV trick to preserve secrecy about next season’s series finale.

The producers will shoot several different endings of the final episode, Casey Bloys, HBO’s programming president, said at a recent event.

“You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know,” he said, according to a local report. “So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”

Mr. Bloys, a native of Bethlehem, Pa., made the remarks last week during an interview event at that city’s Moravian College, but they weren’t publicized until the Morning Call newspaper reported them Wednesday.

HBO refused to comment on production details. But David Benioff and D.B. Weiss the creators of “Game of Thrones,” have previously acknowledged they would take steps to keep viewers in the dark about the final season.

The tactic of shooting multiple outcomes to thwart would-be leakers goes back at least to “Dallas,” which filmed several possible resolutions of its infamous “Who Shot J.R.?” mystery in 1980. (Spoiler alert: It was Kristin.) “The Sopranos” and “Breaking Bad” each shot more than one version of their endings.

More recently, “The Walking Dead” filmed death scenes for all 11 possible victims of Negan’s bat after leaving viewers hanging at the end of Season 6.

It’s hard to fault “Game of Thrones” for planning such preventive measures. Multiple scripts and episodes were leaked online during Season 7 as a result of hacks and other skulduggery, as well as gaffes from HBO’s partners. Episode 6 was briefly posted by accident on the HBO Nordic and HBO Espana platforms, and then quickly spread online.

None of this kept the global fantasy hit from reaching new highs in viewing in Season 7. The season finale was its most-watched episode ever.

Production on the six-episode final season of “Game of Thrones” will begin in October and run into the following summer. The season will debut later in 2018 or perhaps even in 2019.

Years after it aired I read an article about it's brilliance. The article kinda won me over. The whole scene is pretty much shot from Tony's point of view. Everything goes black because he died and that's his point of view disappearing. I hated it when it happened but appreciate it now.

I was really late to the GOT thing. We were "coached" a bit though the seasons by our son who had seen it and knew a bit about the books it is based on. So if I understand correctly, the HBO series follows the books, but the final book either hasn't been written or hasn't been published? So, wtf? Are they going to spring the Iron Throne winner in the show's final season? Will there ever be a final book? It strikes me as kinda, really weird.

My pick for the IT is Sam

The show outpaced George RR Martin's ability to finish the story. So yes, there is one more book in the works, but it hasn't been published yet, and this final season will wrap everything up before the book does.

After like 7 years of the people who read the books spoiling events in the future, now the TV show fans can spoil some stuff for the book readers.

It's only fair

I thought Martin was involved in the writing process of the series ....

Or that the script had his consent or something to that extent

i'm not a fan of any long action scene in movies...i prefer a good story so i thought this episode was terrible. it was too dark first of all and then you fight an enemy that doesn't communicate and you really know nothing about.

the battle coming up is what i really want to see.

How did you watch the episode? I have read that people who watched it by using a streaming service somehow had a darker stream due to how many were streaming the episode at the same time. Or something like that.

I watched it in a somewhat darkened room and other than not being able to really follow along when Dany and Jon/Aegon first flew their dragons into the snowstorm, I had no issues with any sort of darkness at any point during the episode. But after reading your post I started reading a lot tweets and posts on another board I visit that people were having the same problem with darkness.

She is the fucking BEST.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, I could watch an entire spinoff featuring just her and The Hound walking around bantering.

I never thought I would say this, but I don't like Dany. I know she has to be strong and ambitious, but she's not old Dany. Any way, I think Cersei is going to bite the dust soon, or Jon, or Jamie, or Tyrion, or the Mountain, or the Hound...

I think the series is too soft since it went away from the books. too many sentimental moments and people falling in love and shit. also no one really important has died yet.

i think it's obvious that jon will be king and dany will die somehow. possibly by suicide???

i think jamie will kill cersei.

we shall see. i hope they surprise me.

I never thought I'd say this, but there were things about the recent episode that I absolutely hated and I never thought I'd hate anything about the show ever, but these three things bugged the hell out me. I might even have more once I watch the episode again, but these are what stand out the most right now.

1. Tormund giving up so easily on Brienne after she walked away? After expressing himself over and over and over again about how much he wanted her he just gives up just like that? Didn't like it at all.

2. When Sansa and Arya are about to learn who Jon really is .... the show immediately cuts away from their reactions? I hated that.

3. No goodbye to Ghost? Just a look and that's it? No words, no goodbye pat on the head, no good dog? Lame!
