I'm torn on it after a few listens...couple bright spots..not dissatisfied just not blown away

It's solid. Definitely more of a cohesive album than Indie Cindy. Less poppy too. There are some really good 80's college rock, post punk type of tunes on it.

cheers - sounds like it may be worth a looksee, just bought frank black's first album (los angeles,etc) on cd as my vinyl is in the attic - such a great album

Yep. I *loved* the prev. shot -- Greens & Blues is one of my all-time favourite songs. But this new one is really mediocre.
