In the spirit of Eric Avery doing music on a whim and instantly, I did an improvised noise/soundspace set by myself last night on an open stage. Lots of delay and loops happening, along with toys and violin bows. http://soundcloud.com/aaronlum/meditation-for-the-steel

started a band with a friend recently. wrote 6 tunes in a very short time and did 2 shows immediately after getting the songs done. we created some online stuff for promotion:
the idea is to continue and work on our material after the summer break...in october or so. hopefully we'll record some of these tunes, after practicing them some more... first we need to learn to play them better.
it's all easy-listening, instrumental stuff.
I'd like to record some more music on my own, I need to get a good all-round microphone if I have any money left after my trip to Italy.

Here's an instrumental track I did. Kind of some mood/driving music.
Actually in the process of recording some slide parts on a country album as well as making a rockabilly album with some friends so that should be fun. Basically now that I'm playing again just trying to have a good time with it all.

I like Living in a Box too...
Me and Krankle talk of this. He is the anti-claus. They creature who torments children by December 5th in some countries. He is a terrifying creature, and something I find fascinating.

Sorry to bump this very old post, but I couldn't find a more recent "music made by ANR members" type thread.
Anybody been making any tunes lately?
I haven't really, but I'm trying to force myself back into music by posting something every Friday in 2015.
This week I dug up an old rehearsal recording of a fun song I did with my short-lived band back in 2008.
That sounds like Godsmack and Grinderman got together and tried to make a math-rock song... Yikes. Crazy time signature...

I consider the Grinderman/math-rock comments copliments. Godsmack, not so much. I was going for a Melvins thing. Well, thanks for listening. The newer stuff is starting to get a little dance-like. Here's a newer song. https://soundcloud.com/godzillasnacks/f ... -out-of-us

Yeah. It's good. The "Godsmack" sound is just something in the bass and vocals... but it's close to Tool as well...
Newer song sounds a bit like DFA1979.

This is pretty old and one of the few hip hop projects I've done, but I still love the vibe...I am the guy on the second and third verses...
