I don't know how many matz'z there are in Denmark, but this one is fucking great:



He needs to be known widely, I think. First saw him on a local festival when we were on the same bill last year. Tonight he played in my living room, and he's just beautiful. Please give him a listen.

I'm an idiot for not having recorded the first 30 seconds or so... people kept distracting me when I had to make a bathroom stop during the break. I quickly put the recorder on top of a closet and managed to get most of it on tape, though. and it's gorgeous! the rest of the set didn't get any less beautiful.

very surreal almost to hear a Danish artist on this board who sings in Danish and also has this pretty unusual style as you say.

But there is some beautiful quality to if one opens one's mind a bit, I'm starting to come around. He's not a well known guy here at all though, but maybe one day
