Worst concerts you've seen in 2012

I didn't get to many shows this year...about 6 or 7.

The worst was Cat Power in October.

What I saw from Cat Power (pretty boring) and Arctic Monkeys. Music was fine, just didn't like being bounced around during their show

I bought season tickets for classical music in the Municipal Theater of Santiago, which is like 3 blocks away from my apartment. There were like 10 concerts, but I only attended the first 4. They were shite. I left two of those at intermission. I blame the director. A full-on egomaniac twat.

I was thoroughly disappointed.

Bruce Springsteen (April 26 – LA Sports Arena)
Van Halen (6/1/12 - Staples Arena)
Van Halen (6/9/12 - Staples Arena)
Against Me / The Cult (6/23/12 - Hollywood Palladium)
Jane’s Addiction (10/29/12 –The Wiltern)

Can't really say I saw a show this year I'd call lousy or "worst." Backed against a wall, I guess my friends band The Lustkillers who I saw in Long Beach last February was the "least" of the few shows I caught this year but that's simply because the pizza joint/bar was an odd choice for them to play and they only drew about 20 people but otherwise his band is great, imo. The Cult was a bit disappointing due to the relatively short length of their set and the fact they seemed a bit burned out but nothing that made me regret going. Even Janes was pretty decent.

i didn't see a bad show this year. my honorary bad shows are the two concerts i missed because of sandy. one was cancelled and the other still hasn't been rescheduled.

Jack White at Radio City would be the worst I saw this year, and I was at the one where he actually played a full set. The night before he played for 40 minutes and left all angry. He had issues with the sound. The next night was the show I went to and I thought it was boring. Radio City kind of sucks to see a rock show, but a Jack White with a country twang in his music kind of blows. A countrified Hotel Yorba was big letdown. I also bought these tickets off stub hub for my wife's birthday. I grossly overpaid because she never got to see the White Stripes. Besides that I saw Off! a few times and they were awesome, Jane's twice, and Jeff Mangum. Maybe

Maybe it's a sign that I'm getting older. My worst show of 2012 was by the only person under 40 I saw.

They can't possibly open with underground. It'll be 4 or 5 straight NY appearances with the same opener. They will jump into 1st place of the worst of 2012 just on principal.
