I did this back in '91 for my Totonka Janes bootleg cd that just has a b/w image of the old band logo w/wings. I wanted something a bit more colorful for the cd insert so I doodled this out w/watercolors on a little spiral bound watercolor pad while sitting on the couch watching that week's episode of Star Trek Next Generation.
A lot of times, especially for 70's and early 80's bootlegs, especially vinyl records, they'd come in a blank white record sleeve with just a photocopied insert sheet so I used to draw my own album covers all the time on the blank cover.
