To be honest, I was going to put Led Zep IV in, not sure why I didn't. Then again I only thought about it for 5 minutes. Given an hour or two, I could probably sit down and my list would change. Still hard though.

THREE albums would be a killer.

I included Physical Graffiti. That' could be a whole 'nother thread - what's your favorite LZ album...?

Yeah, I cheated with some GH's. Just simpler......and Quadrophenia would be on there if there were do overs......Disintegration too

 , and I couldn't include anything from LZ. As with the Woody Allen thread and his being influencing his art, then me.....I just can't get their sexual misogyny (torture really) out of my head when I listen to them. Still, despite myself I enjoy their music, but on a secluded island it would haunt me.

right I missed that. It's hard for me to choose, I love pretty much everything they've done, but I'll go with Houses of the holy as the desert island one

I completely forgot about LZ. I would have to add Led Zep II

What suprised me is that out of 130 picks, only 3 would fall under Jazz or Classical (Coltrane & Beethoven)

The Nels Cline Singers would fall under the jazz genre.

I wanted to include Eric Dolphy - Outward Bound, and something from either Mahler/Grieg/Brahms/Debussy, but I went with the first 10 that popped into my head.

Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii
Primus - Frizzle Fry
Serge Gainsbourg - Histoire de Melody Nelson
Jane's Addiction - RDLH
RHCP - Bssm I think (I love OHM and Mothers Milk and these are the ones I play most - but I think that one will hold up after the most listens)
Ozric Tentacles - Erpland
BLO - Chapter one
Kyuss - Welcome to Sky Valley
Tool - Lateralus
Guns N Roses - Live Era

Ask me tomorrow and I'll answer something else

Well, if I made a list it would be mostly classical and jazz/swing. It would also have a touch of Jamaican music (like Jackie Mittoo or The Ethiopians or Toots), and probably a couple of things that fit in the general rock/pop category. Jane's probably wouldn't make the cut, but if they did, it would be RDLH.
