Surfin' USA cannot possibly be absent from a list of best riffs. Even it's a top 5. Or top 3.

Aside from that, that's a pretty good video.

Yeah, I can come up with a bunch of easily recognized riffs that I'd sub for some on that list.

Include:

Van Halen - Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
Kinks - You Really Got Me
Bruce Springsteen - Born To Run
Queen - Tie Your Mother Down
Roy Orbison - Pretty Woman
The Doors - Roadhouse Blues
Muse - Supermassive Black Hole
Creedence Clearwater Revival - Up Around The Bend
Killing Joke - Eighties
The Beatles - Day Tripper
David Bowie - Rebel Rebel
The Rolling Stones - Jumping Jack Flash (or Start Me Up)

Remove:
Bruce Springsteen - Glory Days
Bon Jovi - You Give Love A Bad Name
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody
Green Day - Welcome To Paradise
Toadies - Possum Kingdome
Guns N' Roses - Welcome To The Jungle
Van Halen - Runnin' With The Devil
Santana - Smooth
Rolling Stones - Bitch
Mastadon - Blood And Thunder
Weezer - Say It Ain't So
Muse - Hysteria

and on and on......

Instead of 100 riffs, he should've just played all of Johnny B Goode. That song just *is* Rock N Roll.

Also, it is impressive to play them all in a single take, but the timing is way WAY off on a few of them (esp. Layla... good god...)

I liked it, some song choice was cheesy but I enjoyed it nevertheless...

I wonder how many takes he did? I don't play guitar but I always seem to think the intro to Thunderstruck looks well hard to play for two minutes at the start of a song. Is it?

I love the intro to Hysteria. That bass line is killer. One of the best muse songs imo, next to muscle museum
