Huge disappointment. I'm actually thinking of returning the ticket I bought for their show in Manchester, and maybe getting tickets for Tame Impala instead. This is nothing like Animal Collective.

Huge disappointment. I'm actually thinking of returning the ticket I bought for their show in Manchester, and maybe getting tickets for Tame Impala instead. This is nothing like Animal Collective.

They're one of the headliners at a festival i'm going to in September. Not sure what to expect from them performance-wise, particularly as a headline act. If they clash with someone remotely decent I'll probably give them a swerve as I just find them totally hit + miss. They're one of them bands where i absolutely have to be in the right mood to listen to them so it could well come down to that on the day... that said, if they're clashing with someone like Devendra Banhart, they have no chance!

I've liked FloriDada.

I started listening to the album driving home from work last week but only got through the first three songs before I got a phone call. Sounded alright to me, but I haven't given it a lot of listens? I'll listen to the rest of it today.
