I would have thought it would have been in the US interest to show pictures? Or at least taken him alive. Just seems a bit strange to me that the man they've been chasing for the best part of 10 years suddenly gets killed, gets chucked off a ship at sea and that's all we need to know. - What the US and its allies have been doing is inform determined groups of rebels about the location of their target, so that the rebels can do what they please (i.e., torture them, pee on them, burn them, etc.) The US doesn't *really* want anybody alive, regardless of what they say.

Thing is Larry, you don't have to be of superior intellect to ask questions or do a bit of research. I think people are more apathetic than stupid. And I guess mainstream media doesn't help matters as that pushes the naivety along.
