4 years ago, I bought $40 worth of the 'safest' stock of a Chilean company. 3 years later, I sold them for $22. During those 3 years, I received dividends for a grand total of 30c. Turns out I bought those stocks at their peak, and then it went back to its normal state.

I was this close to receiving the Nobel Prize in Economics.

It's such a thin line between the Nobel Prize and The Darwin Award.
