Anderson Cooper's conversation with this woman is as funny as it is disturbing:

The Pastor:

Well that is an interesting way to help with unemployment. Will they paint the fence in rainbow colors?

With our president now claiming support for gay marriage those who aren't in support or who are vehemently against gay marriage look all the more marginal and kind of crazy. Well, just plain crazy. No kind of about it.

Where would the world be without brilliant ideas like this? This guy is a very deep thinker. Next stop for him is solving the Greek debt issue.

I didn't bother to listen, so where is he building this fence?

You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't watch the Anderson Cooper vid. The woman he interviews is profoundly stupid. I know, I know, we see stupid people all the time, but there's something special about this one. There appears to be no comprehension on her part of anything being said. It's astonishing that nobody on her end stopped her from being interviewed, but from the perspective of the program, her remarkable ignorance and inability to think must have been seen as a real bonanza. In giving this interview they gave her just enough rope to hang herself, and provided a window through which we can observe that some of the people in such organizations may be even dumber than we'd already assumed.

I read your post and then saw the video... unfortunately, she seemed like a pretty averagely stupid religious person. Most of them have no idea what they're talking about.

I just love the look on the interviewers face. How he just keeps on having a straight, serious face while this woman is talking. And how she gets mad when she realises he is smarter than her and what she says doesn't make sense.

Ah, Americans

True America is the only country that has stupid overly religious people. Religious beliefs have never caused problems in any other country but America, this is so very true.

ya, it pisses me off when people say shit like that too.

every country has religious hicks from the boondocks.

the only difference is:

A) our "boondocks" is the size of most countries.
B) our religious nuts have more of a voice through various media than other countries.
C) other countries are so infatuated by american media that they get to see our religious nuts.

also americans are no worse at geography than anybody else:

Well, we do have interesting architecture at our sea side.

It's actually quite nice looking at a beautiful building with a sea breeze on your back eating a waffle and drinking a Duvel. You should try it

I liked when the interviewer asked if she thought that locking people up in the electric fence was a Christian thing to do. Lol
