It's astonishing that nobody on her end stopped her from being interviewed, but from the perspective of the program, her remarkable ignorance and inability to think must have been seen as a real bonanza. In giving this interview they gave her just enough rope to hang herself, and provided a window through which we can observe that some of the people in such organizations may be even dumber than we'd already assumed.
