Go! Go! Go! see Faith No More (see what I did there?). Tape it and share it.... PM me if you want an easy how-to... for realzmockbee wrote:thanks for the warning. this might just be to much time/money to be worth it, though the crowd might be an interesting divergence of cali people I don't normally experience, it might be a bit much for a whole day and $$$ for what it is.
Cali hotels suck, or are very, very expensive.....
Oh, there's always camping....... now that might be interesting.

See the day time people watching will be enough for me........ I don't know much about these other bands, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Snot.....do these bands attract the same sorts of folks from the central valley as say, ani difranco??? Who are these people?creep wrote:mockbee wrote:thanks for the warning. this might just be to much time/money to be worth it, though the crowd might be an interesting divergence of cali people I don't normally experience, it might be a bit much for a whole day and $$$ for what it is.

isn't camping free with the ticket? camp there. it would be great for people watching.
I don't see what you did there. I don't tape anything, the only thing I have ever taped was the janes Portland relapse show on one of those handheld dictation devices, and I haven't seen that tape in about 20 years. I think I lost it in the parking lot.nausearockpig wrote:Go! Go! Go! see Faith No More (see what I did there?). Tape it and share it.... it's a reference to "Superhero" from Sol Invictus... you can tape really well on an iPhone if you have one.... anyway, go & enjoy!mockbee wrote:I don't see what you did there. See.....this is why I am not keen on being "asleep" in the midst of a colourful crowd with the only thing between me and shenanigans is a thin nylon wall.phenobarb_bambalam wrote:I'm kind of dreading this! Crowds for the few large shows I have been to in Sacramento tend to be...colourful. In a shallow gene-pool kind of way.
I'll be going for FNM—JA will give me a reason to get there earlier. Sad times...
Agreed. And also whyI'll be in and our for two bands. It's only two hours to get home....mockbee wrote:
