Perry's vocals used to be like a fifth instrument in Jane's. Plenty of trippy echo, delay, reverb, pitch and bend... both in the studio and live. Just listen to Up on the beach... Perry's vocals are about 99% of what make that song one of the greatest intros of all time.... I wish they still opened ...
