Re: Hurricane Irene

got my generator and booze. do your worst. it shouldn't be too terrible where I am, but some entities claim we could be without power for days or weeks. we'll see how that works out.

Re: Fake Ass Earthquake

Felt it for 15 seconds in Jersey, that was some weird shit.

Didn't Virginia learn from last time that it's not a good idea to try to break away from the United States?

Re: The official "The Great Escape Artist" thread

And here we go. It's gonna turn into Chinese Democracy at this rate. lol probably will be about as good as CD too.... fuck that record was a bucket of steaming turds... Definitely. It's funny you should use that terminology, one of the DJs on my local station hates GNR and constantly refers to Axl ...

Re: NFL

Well the biggest reason was probably the scandal involving the coach and the players. I sure hope Miami's prospects aren't that great, cause I can't handle this again haha. I never really cared for either program, so I thought it was hilarious when it happened, but now that ESPN is rolling out all ...

24 hours later and "Frizz Head" is still on the loose. :waits: Let's hope this doesn't get drawn out.

Yeah, the tribal/ethnic situation is quite bizarre, though that seems to be endemic of much of Africa. Just something else for State Departments to misunderstand, and a huge variable in rebuilding.

Typical raiders move. Dude really isn't that great, could be better than Jamarcus "Sizzurp" Russell, but I guess that ain't saying much. I doubt the supplemental draft will ever receive this much coverage again, unless, of course, another overrated Ohio State quarterback decides to bail after the dr...

Good game today. I wasn't really sold on Welbeck, but I sure liked what I saw. Good to see Chicharito back out there, didn't know all the details about the epilepsy but let's hope it's behind him. Of course there was some shakiness from De Gea, but I loved how he got in Defoe's face after that foul....

I'm With You is streaming in its entirety on their official website at 3 PM EST. Heard a few preview clips on the radio, one song sounded really promising, the rest were just decent. Sounded like a lot of slow tempo stuff from what I heard.

Re: The End Of Moammar Gadhafi's Rule

Adios, you murderous son of a bitch. The only issue here is, who will take over? And can the rebel factions get along? In Egypt a terrorist organization may very well win whatever election they have, and the army has been shaking people down regularly. "Better the devil you know..." comes to mind, b...

Re: English Football

Going back to last week, I believe in De Gea. Like you said Larry, he's usually a great keeper, and I think he'll adjust just like Schmeichel did. Agüero was unreal. Swansea is my "other" EPL team (in addition to Sunderland, since it's basically Man United North), so I was bummed to see that happen,...

That was highly disappointing given the amount of talent involved, even if Mick is just an old bag of bones. I wonder if they would consider disbanding if Keef came out and said "Mick's todger is immense! Now bugger off with the bloody reggae!" Shit like this could drive a man to smoke his father's ...

Agreed. I'm sure they'll concoct something harsh, but I doubt we'll ever see the death penalty again.

if these wines are done in the true AC/DC spirit, i'm sure they all taste exactly the same, but will be big hits. :lolol: I'm sure PF must know some wine people. I'd like to see what kind of "irresistible" concoctions they would come up with. Mountain Song Merlot, anyone? Or perhaps Strays Sauvignon...

The QB situation is tough to call, and everyone around here is screaming for them to sign an experienced QB to compete with Smith so that it doesn't come down to Kaepernick or Smith. 9ers are bringing in Culpepper. :lolol: Did they actually sign him? I just read they'd brought him in for...

- Arsenal's game was the absolute Arsenal standard: precise touches, some beautiful close football at times, no goals, tense players and a stupid send off. - Liverpool's game was pretty enjoyable, with Suarez's goal (what a player), and even more so with the game being a tie... - I'm watching Stoke...
