Re: Gallup Poll: U.S. States by Religiosity

And here's the thing Hoka, I'm not one of those people who bows to the idea that religion (creationism) should be given EQUAL time. The religious side has had thousands of years to PROVE their ideas and they STILL have no proof while the evolutionists have only had a couple of hundred of years to pr...

Re: Gallup Poll: U.S. States by Religiosity

And if a particular community wants to allow discussion regarding creationism in their biology class you should be able to force them not to? Shouldn't that be a community issue? Hoka, you're still acting like there is a debate of creationism (religion) vs biology?? It's kinda like the p...

Re: My new (famous) neighbor

A part of the story is that there was some sort of DNA (a pubic hair, and sperm) left on the victim and it did NOT match Clarence but the judge said the hair could of came from anyone that entered the house and so it did not exclude Clarence Really judge, anyone? So it's not out of the question to ...

Re: Getting a new smartphone.

As I said before, I'm somewhat of an Apple fan, but I can't think of a reason that would convince me to pick a smartphone other than an iPhone. H'mm, maybe something like PRICE would be a reason? lol "All the other" smart phones are practically given away FREE with a contract and provide 80-99% of ...

When blacks in this country get pissed off (whether rightly OR wrongly) they tend to go a little crazy , which is really what the problem is here. :lightbulb: Your generalization here is quite frightening... ...its absolutely CRAZY to me that its so blatant what's going on but the discussion ...

But it's not even statistics... the numbers are (pseudo-)random... it's probabilities, but ... those don't really need to be calculated because we already know them. Gamblers are just not thinking clearly. That's why "gambling" exists as an industry, because inately humans just aren't very good at ...

Excuse the maybe dumb sounding question, but how big is Cider outside of the UK? I generally drink it all year round but mainly spring / summer. Anyway, there's a small brewer here called Sheppy's who are rocking out a few specials at the moment... I can't get enough. Beer wise, I'm more an ale kin...

Re: Woodstock of atheists

Well, I don't care much, but simple-minded people have actually used the fact that 'god' is on the money to be on school-boards and argue against the teaching of evolution at meetings . It's a tangential point, but it's worth pointing out that simple folk often reason poorly and because this is a d...

Do Not shoot me for this but I like Budweiser American Ale. BTW, I HATE regular Budweiser but the ale is totally different. It's a bit watery, and a bit sweet but when you drink 7 or 8 or 9 a night it doesn't rot your teeth.

I don't know a lot about the stand your ground by where does the law end and can't it be used by both sides. I just don't think there's an INBUILT problem with discovering permanent solutions to recognized problems . There you go again, claiming to know what is a problem or not. Re: Woodstock of atheists

People tend to dislike atheists because they whine about things like "In God we Trust" on money. No one cares. Shut up. If atheists pay the same taxes as other religious people than we atheists have as much right to separation of church and state as them. Believe me, if money said "In God we DON"T ...
