Did I miss anything? Besides not being asked for the HoF did something happen there which would have pissed Navarro off?

I dunno, but I think Navarro is probably more famous than Perry.clickie wrote:Dave wont ever accept that the only reason he's famous is because of Perry.

Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Went to see Bruce Springsteen this weekend. As expected, an awesome show. He played for almost 3 1/2 hours, including some obscure songs and all of Darkness on the Edge of Town. A lot of artists could learn a thing a thing or two from The Boss

BRMC
Been listening a lot to "Specter at the Feast", the new Black Rebel Motorcycle Club album. Another solid album by this great band and one of the best albums of this year so far (in my opinion of course). With the exception of "Sometimes the Light", there isn't a weak track on it. Love the cover of T...

Maybe, but it's another change. I like what they're doing... they could easily take Ted out one night and put Then She Did or Pigs into that spot. Keep going Janes! Yeah, it indeed looks really promising. So I really hope they are gonna tour Europe soon, and than hopefully also small clubs and no f...

Re: Per Perry Tweet - First tour dates late February
I'll go if they come to Europe for a normal tour, not just a couple of big cities like London and Madrid and that's it then, just like the Ninja tour I've got a feeling it won't be the JA tour of the 90's in the UK. One city a night, nah, don't think they're up for it. I don't even think they can s...

if anyone was going to go, The Joy Formidable and The Naked & Famous are still playing the show without Jane's, and it's now a free show. Both bands are amazing, and highly worth seeing. I so wish i was in Las Vegas right now. The Joy Formidable are awesome. Huge sounding neo-shoegaze with strong p...

Also, pay whatever it costs to see Prince. I have gone 3 times and every single one ranks among the best shows I have ever seen. His band is 100% professionals who can BRING IT A few months ago I had the chance to see Prince play one of his famous unannounced gigs here in The Netherlands. Didn't go...

Monday: Electrix Six
11/30: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
Both in Amsterdam. Not sure what to expect from Electric Six but really looking forward to the Gallagher gig. Love his solo album.

Re: Post your Jane's / Jane's related buy
Just bought Kettle Whistle secondhand for seven euros. Enjoyable album, but nothing really special. I was surprised though to find out that film composer Harry Gregson-Williams (last couple of Tony Scott films, Kingdom of Heaven, Shrek to name a few) produced the new tracks on it and that those were...

About those backing tracks, wouldn't it look better (and less embarrassing probably) if Dave and Chris would do backing vocals?

Killing Joke is indeed still an awesome band. Their last album was really good and I loved the one they did with Grohl a couple of years back. You won't find anyone here who's a bigger Killing Joke fan then me, but they've have some major peaks and valleys even in the last decade. I agree that the ...

new songs middle of the set every janes show ever should start with up the beach or whores fact i hate to say it, but i think there should be a severe decrease in classic songs. Break out a bunch from Strays and TGEA. Make people extra excited to hear the ones they know. I wouldn't mind if they'd d...

There are actually quite a few songs on Strays that I dig, but Just Because is probably my favorite (although these days I have a thing for To Match The Sun).
