Re: Billy Corgan props to JA
Smashing Pumpkins always were more about the big wall of guitar, whereas Jane's relied more on the bass to drive the songs. That's all i'll say about it though. If you guys hear Jane's Addiction, so be it. Jimmy Chamberlain told me that Jane's were a big influence on them, and Perk specifically on ...

Re: Michael Jackson Doctor's Trial
For negligence there are four important elements: duty, breach, causation and damages. Here, what's important to remember, is his duty is greater than the average joe's because he is a medical doctor and MJ was a patient under his care. Regardless of who the patient was, how much he was paid, etc., ...

Even a relatively small percentage, taken over 20, 30, or even 50 years would be worth quite a bit... and that's likely what it would cost to buy him out.creep wrote:I'm not sure perry owns too much of lollapalooza anymore.

Yeah, I'm sure most of that is counting his interest in Lollapalooza... he would only realize the bulk of that if he sold his interest outright.

Re: Bachmann does not respond to vaccine challenge
Perry tried to mandate that all girls in Texas (I think 12 year olds) get the vaccine. Although I think the vaccine is a good idea, I think his mandate is too intrusive and he crossed the line. All manner of vaccines are required to enroll a child in school? :noclue: Is it because it's a vaccine fo...

I have to say (since MB and I are kindred spirits and all  ) that she was right to call out Perry during the last debate regarding his HPV mandate (even though it did not pass). I'm curious as to what exactly you agree with Bachmann? :hs: The last I read she says that she was merely repeating ...

Jane's is playing San Fransisco Thursday September 22nd. yeah it sounds like some secret show and i thought they mentioned the park. would be nice to get some heads up. It's a private gig according to DN and DC. well figure out what big corporate event is going on in the city and show up and you wi...

I've actually been working with them for the past couple months and I have been pleasantly surprised by how nice everyone has been... They've always been a pretty fan-friendly band and once they had to get through the Napster backlash and all the fan hatred of their awful "St Anger" album,...

I'm not a Metallica fan...but judging by this video, they seem like nice, down to earth guys. I could see Dave and Stephen being like this with fans...but God forbid Perry have to mingle with the common people. v725IrEQECI I've actually been working with them for the past couple months and I have b...

Yeah, I dig the G n' R cover, but only the Live at the Ritz version - not the shitty take they recorded on Use Your Illusion.
Adding the backup singers took it to a cheesy place.

I saw Ministry on their "farewell" tour and it was pretty lousy. CU LaTour was horrible. I couldn't believe it when Al had that other guy come out for the encore and do his vocals for him...and of course the encore is where they stuck the few hits they played that night. Al told me straight up...

HOB? Maybe it's a Livenation tour? I'd take a Fillmore Halloween show... Ugh. This would likely mean a Hollywood (or worse, Disneyland) HOB show, both places I hate seeing bands at. Well, after I typed that it occurred to me that a LN tour would be built in the system as a whole tour and w...

How 'bout if they say, "hey, could you drive us over to the such and such?" and you just kinda drive them across the country instead? It'll be fun...like you're Clark Griswald in Vacation. Ha!
